Below you can find our spring/summer skills programs that are hosted by Breakaway Ice Center, along with a brief description and registration information.
Kerry Brennan and Ryan Sweeney Summer Skills:
2024 Summer Skills Clinic Hosted by North Shore Vipers Director and Austin Prep Head Coach Kerry Brennan: Open to anyone, including non-Viper players, Coed. Click here to register.
– 16 sessions, Tuesdays & Thursdays at Breakaway Ice Center.
-U10’s/U12’s, On Ice 5 – 5:50 pm ***Off Ice Option 6:10 pm – 7:00 pm***
-U14’s/U16’s/U19’s, ***Off Ice Option 5 – 5:50 pm*** On Ice 6 – 6:50 pm
-Starts Tuesday, June 25th
-Ends Tuesday, August 20th
-Tuesday July 2nd is on for normal sessions, Thursday July 4th is canceled
– 50 Minute on-ice sessions

S3 Hockey Development
Our skills Company S3 Hockey Development will be hosting our 4th Annual S3 Girls Hockey Summer Clinic in Tewksbury MA (Breakaway Ice Center) – July 8 – July 11 for Ages 7-14.
This will be a skill packed 4 day clinic that will be run by Former Professional players, Former NCAA D1 players and Current NCAA D1 players! We enjoyed running our clinics the last 3 years and have loved to see the girls having fun and getting better everyday! The first on ice session is at 8am and pickup is at 2pm. We will have exciting giveaways and offerings from our partnership with Bauer along with Hockey Monkey!!
There will be:
8 hours of on-ice skills
5 hours of off-ice training

Pro Stride Elite Skating
We are committed to enhancing a player’s Hockey Skating IQ, a comprehensive blend of technical skating skill, understanding, and decision-making tailored specifically to the dynamic needs of ice hockey. We don’t just make players skate through cones at full speed without corrections. We TEACH and equip players with the knowledge and skills necessary to be fast, quick, explosive, and efficient on the ice. This unique focus extends beyond traditional line drills, circle drills and edgework. We delve deeper into the strategic application of these skating maneuvers, enabling players to anticipate and adeptly navigate the flow of the game.

Sharks Hockey
Our model is to push the players past their comfort zone in game situational skills. We will not just have the players go through the drills to finish them but get through them to get better. Every time we step on the ice is to not just get a physical workout in but a mental workout in and understanding how to attack a defender or how to protect the important ice.

Hockey Sense
Build Elite Hockey IQ!
Our program builds on skills training to help kids play better hockey. We combine video sessions with on-ice work focused on reading the play in game situation drills and small area games. All sessions are run by prep school and college coaches. Players are pre-screened to ensure proper fit for groups.
Tuesdays 6/18 – 8/13 U15 Boys (2008-2010) 6:30 PM Video 7:10 – 8:10 PM On-Ice
These sessions are appropriate for EHF / E9 Elite, EHF Platinum or equivalent
Tuesdays 6/18 – 8/13 U19 / Prep Boys (2005 – 2008 with varsity experience) 7:30 PM Video 8:20 – 9:20 PM On-Ice
These sessions are appropriate for NE Prep and select MIAA
Wednesdays 6/19 – 8/14 U15 Girls (2008-2010) 6:30 PM Video 7:10 – 8:10 PM On-Ice
These sessions are appropriate for NEGHL National / High American or equivalent
Wednesdays 6/19 – 8/14 U19 / Prep Girls (2005 – 2010 with varsity experience) 7:30 PM Video 8:20 – 9:20 PM On-Ice
These sessions are appropriate for NE Prep and select MIAA
All groups are $550. Sibling discounts are available. We will not skate the 4th of July week.
