The Breakaway Ice Center (BIC) would like to announce that we have merged the New England Moose Teams (Squirts, Peewees and Bantams) with the Red Ranger teams. Those New England Moose teams now fall under the Red Ranger Name. Along with the name change, our teams are now affiliated with the New England Hockey League (NEHL). The NEHL (www.thenehl.com) has proven to have excellent competition and we believe that this league along with BIC’s concentration, commitment and priority to skills development will offer the best environment for our players to excel.
This name change and league move was done with significant consideration. The entire BIC organization strives to promote overall development from on - ice skills to off - ice physical training. Other than the name change and colors of the jerseys, we will continue to operate under the same principles as in the past.
The Breakaway Ice Center is excited about the upcoming 2010/2011 Red Ranger season.
